Allist has developed a fast releasing formulation of proton pump inhibitor for treatment of ulcers of other acid related diseases. A clinical trial application has been filed to the China SFDA in May of this year. This is the first application of its kind in China . Patent protection of the new formulation technologies has been filed. The new fast releasing formulation makes the proton pump inhibitor dissolve faster, be absorbed faster and take effects faster.

For mutual benefits, Allist Pharmaceuticals and Shanghai Yudan Pharmaceuticals ( www.yudan.com.cn ) have signed an agreement. Under the terms of the agreement, Yudan will manufacture finishing products for Allist. The finishing product by the joint efforts of Shanghai Allist and Shanghai Yudan will come into market in 2008.

Shanghai Yudan, the former Huangshan Pharmaceutical Factory, has been in business for more than thirty years. In China the company is now named as a Shanghai Hi-tech Enterprise . Yudan is also the international cardiovascular drug research centre for Chinese medicine. It has advanced manufacture facilities for manufacturing cardiovascular drug.

The new drug by the collaboration will come into the market in 2008.
